Just enough items

Probably one of the most important mods is Just Enough Items (JEI). When you open your inventory, you’ll notive a big list of items and blocks on the right side of your screen. This is a comprehensive list of everything in the modpack with a search bar on the bottom. Click on something (or press “r”) to see its recipe. You can also press “R” on items in your inventory to see it’s recipe. You can also check what things you can craft with a specific item by pressing “u” instead of “r” while your cursor is over the item. One more thing: entering @blablah in the search bar will search for all things from a mod named blahblah. It can be super usefull to see all things from a specific mod.

Seasons

Yepp, there are seasons. Don’t be confused if it suddenly starts snowing :p. Different crops also grow in different speeds depending on the season.

Griefing and PVP

This is a private server so i trust people to just not be asshats. Don’t fuck peoples shit up without their consent. If you want to start a fight/war/mess around/whatever with someone for fun, that’s cool if you’re both gucci but be careful noone gets caught in the crossfire.

Be Carefull

Were playing on normal so you wont starve but theres lots of monsters that can and will eat you (especially the huge and rare ones like dragons or a cyclops). There is no shame in running away! Spooky looking structures may also hold dangerous mobs so don’t say i didnt warn ya when a ghost comes out of a graveyard.

Dying

Dying isnt too bad even if you die in lava. When you die, there will be a floating totem, destroy that to get your items back. You also get your (only you can see that) death coordinates in the chat. BUT there’s a catch: you can only have one active totem, when there is a totem you havent retrieved yet and you die again, your totem is gonna drop all the items.

Getting to the Nether

There are no nether portals. You’ll have to find a portal in a mine underground. Theyre small structures built with nether materials. You know what i mean when you find one :p. If you want a portal near you, you can scoup the portals liquid and take it with you. In the nether you need to find a structure with a bright light beam that makes you float to get back. You can also take that thing with you to make things float or move the portal. Read more about that here.

No Minimap?

I thought it would be more immersive to not have a minimap. There is an ingame item called Antique Atlas that will serve as a cool map ;). More about that here.

Can i invite someone?

Yepps. Just ping me with their ingame name so i can whitelist them. But please only invite people you trust not to fuck shit up.

Incase of Emergency

If someone happs to fuck shit up, tell me immediately. I keep backups about 2 days back but it’s a hassle to find the one before things are fucked so id prefer if things just don’t get fucked in the first place.
